Sacramento County Prosecutor Thien Ho Endorsed by Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen

SACRAMENTO, CA – Sacramento County prosecutor Thien Ho announced that he has received the endorsement of Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen in his race for Sacramento County District Attorney.

“The citizens of Elk Grove need the steady hand of a veteran prosecutor who will protect the community, provide justice to victims and ensure a justice system that serves everyone equally,” said Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen. “With two decades of experience as a prosecutor, Sacramento Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney Thien Ho has distinguished himself as a law enforcement leader that is committed to a balanced approach of protecting the community and crime victims. He will be a great District Attorney who will prioritize safety over politics.”

Speaking on their shared experiences, Singh-Allen said, “As an API leader and immigrant that was born in India, I was moved by Thien’s story as a refugee from Vietnam.” “We share a lot of the same values,” she added.

“I am honored and humbled to receive the support of Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie SinghAllen,” said Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney Thien Ho. “As the mayor of the second largest city in Sacramento County, she has worked tirelessly to serve the City of Elk Grove and its diverse residents, and I look forward to strengthening our partnership to keep Elk Grove vibrant and safe,” Ho added.

Ho’s campaign announced last week his race has opened a wide lead in fundraising with more than $519,000 in 2021. As a refugee who fled Vietnam seeking freedom and opportunities for a better life, Thien Ho is the embodiment of the American Dream. As a lawyer with 23 years of experience, Thien has pursued justice every time he steps into the courtroom. As a deputy district attorney, Thien has prosecuted the most violent and dangerous criminals, including the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer. As the Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento County, Thien manages and oversees an entire bureau of lawyers who protect the public, collaborate with community partners, and guard the integrity of the criminal justice system.
